-
Procured new office premises with modern facilities close by to the North Whitely estate; and
-
Worked closely with the Tenants and Residents Team to find ways of getting the community together. In August 2006 we jointly organised a successful
Fun Day which was attended by hundreds of local people. As well as bringing people together, this raised approximately £800 to fund a social tea dance we organised for local elderly residents in
December 2007.
Not only has Affinity delivered service improvements, but it has also been intimately involved in working with local people to build a
sense of community spirit. The relationship that has been established will be built on over the remaining years of the contract to ensure that local people’s employment and social opportunities, as
well as their homes, are transformed.
